An unusual and busy evening tomorrow, Wednesday. March 29th. The Beckett Centenary Festival is opened by the Minister for Arts, Sports and Tourism in Dublin Castle at 6pm, and Dedalus Press are launching Macdara Woods’ new book, Artichoke Wine, in the Boardroom of the College of Surgeons, St Stephen’s Green, Dublin, at 7 pm, supported by Poetry Ireland.
Paul Durcan will say the magic words, and Benjamin Dwyer and MacDara will perform their music/poetry collaboration, In The Ranelagh Gardens.
