How to Grow a Tea Garden. I had been buying packets of mint and other herb teas, until I thumped my forehead when I realised I had fresh herbs in my back yard.

Laetrile or Vitamin B17 Cancer has been on my mind a lot of late – well, we all know someone who’s had it, or has it, right? The more I think of it, the more I think there’s a better than even chance that it’s due to a diet deficient in one mineral or vitamin or enzyme or the other. Think of how scurvy and pellagra were defeated with simple nutrition. Anyway, don’t take my word for it but look through this site which is simple enough for a lay person. but is also referenced. If you’re interested, you can buy a book on the subject here

Dead Doctors Don’t Lie Transcript
On the Vitamin B17 site above, you can find a real audio file of Nobel nominee Dr Joe Wallech. On it he claims that minerals will cure or prevent a host of ailments. He may or may not be right, and his colourful personality and capitalist outlook (he sells minerals from his website and a lot of these sites do) mean that he’s an easy target for vicious attacks. As someone who’s spent a long time in hospital, I can say that the minerals are certainly no worse than most prescription drugs. The link above is to a transcript of his radio talk on another site (if the web-unfriendly colours of the site don’t blind you), with easy links to the ailments in question. Wallech will make you laugh if nothing else. Having also grown up on a farm, I appreciate his horse sense.

If you’ve called by here before you might have noticed that I’m a fan of TED Talks. Here’s a few I watched recently.
